the people behind Malibu Homes
Columbus, Nebraska native, Michael Shotkoski was enthusiastic about building homes even from a young age. As a teen-ager, Mike worked pouring concrete and framing houses, and throughout the years, learned all the intricacies of building homes, construction business management, and construction financing.
In 2003, Mike decided to use his in-depth knowledge to create his vision for home construction, and one year later, Malibu Homes was born.
In 2006, Willie Douglas joined Mike to help with customer service, design, and construction management. Together, Mike and Willie have more than 25 years of combined experience in building homes, construction financing, and project management.
